National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST) invites applications from qualified & experienced individuals for the post of Director of Administration in Center for Advanced Studies in Energy (CAS-EN), a US-AID funded project being executed at NUST.
Job Description:
The incumbent holding this position will provide overall technical and administrative leadership in the areas of project administrations and procurement for the CAS. General responsibilities will include everyday project administration, and all procurement related support. In addition, s/he will work with the Director, HEC and respective CAS universities, to ensure all procurements are made in compliance with and are congruent with USAID regulations.
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Business Admin, Management or any other relevant field.
- Minimum of five years (05) of experience in administration.
- Experience with international development programs and actors, including major donors and implementing organizations such as NGOs. Experience managing grants under USAID funded project strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, leadership, creative problem solving and ethical management.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, and
- English language fluency is required. Knowledge of Urdu and other local languages strongly preferred.
