Qualification:
a. Master of Military Art & Science or Master of Defence and Strategic Studies or Master of War Studies or Strategic Studies or Master of Science in National Security and War Studies.
b, Master's degree (foreign) OR M.Phil (Pakistan) OR equivalent degrees awarded after 18 years of education as determined by the HEC in the relevant field from an HEC recognized university/institution with relevant teaching/research experience in a HEC recognized university or post-graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization will be preferred.
Professional Experience:
a. Candidate should have a Peacekeeping experience as Contingent Commander or Senior Staff officer or Military Observers Team Leader (Lieutenant Colonel or above).
b. Tenure at the UN Department of Peacekeeping Operations will be of additional value.
Job Description:
a. To conduct UN peacekeeping courses run at CIPS.
b. Organize and participate in Seminar, Round Table etc pertaining to UN peacekeeping operations and conflict resolution.
c. Carry out research related to peacekeeping, peace building, and international conflict resolution.
