National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST) invites applications from qualified & experienced individuals for the post of Information Resource Officer (Head Librarian) in US Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Energy (USPCAS-E), a US-AID funded project being executed at NUST.
Qualification/Experience:
Master of Library & Information Science/ Information Management from an HEC recognized institution.
• Five years of relevant experience in academic environment.
• Proficient in Customization and Management of Library Management software “KOHA”
• Proficient in Customization and management of full-text databases (DSpace or Calibre etc.).
• Proficient in Citation Software’s and Plagiarism database (Turnitin).
• Proficient in MS Office
• Expert in Information Retrieval Techniques.
• Well familiar with Bar-coding, Article Surveillance Systems and E-DDC.
• Experience of Library Resources Procurement practices.
• Excellent Interpersonal and Communication and management Skills.
