Qualification : BE (Environmental Engineering) with CGPA of 3.0 or above
  
Experience : Minimum 6 months experience in any project related to water/waste water technology

Duration : Minimum Job Contract is 2 years

Role : Plant Engineer is responsible for daily inspection, operation and maintenance of the MBR plant according to engineering principles and safety regulations. He will ensure that operation procedures and maintenance are followed in all aspects. Supervising and managing MBR plant staff members. In addition to managing daily plant functions, the Plant Engineer is responsible for over-viewing the research activities, and analyzing and recording membrane flux, trans-membrane pressure (TMP), waste water quality and activated sludge condition.

Responsibilities : 
- Trouble shooting and fault finding of SCADA/PLCs programming.
- Recording pilot plant MBR data from control room and reporting to plant Incharge. 
- Preparing various water quality reports on data obtained.
- Monitoring SCADA and telemetry systems and respond to alarms from various locations of the MBR plant. 
- Overall management (at site) and co-ordination of the research activities at pilot plant MBR. 
- Monitoring of , and responding to, technical issues at the MBR plant.
- Issue written guidelines to Plant Technicians for planned tasks. 
- Managing and training the Plant Technicians and Sanitary Worker. 
- Ensure biological and filtration processes are monitored and controlled to achieve safe operation of MBR plant. 
- Developing recommendations on evaluation of data obtained. 
- Maintaining manuals, testing protocols, and training material pertinent to MBR plant.
- Developing and maintenance health and safety standards and protocols for MBR plant in conjunction with the Technician. 
- Identify areas for engineering and financial improvements and enable their inception whilst maintaining an appropriate level of availability and reliability of equipment.
- Prepare and manage MBR Laboratory budgets, forecasts and plans.
 
Candidates are required to get their degrees verified from HEC/ Concerned Institution and attach Scanned copies of their documents (Academics/Professional) along with their CVs.

Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons:-

- 3rd Div in academic career;
- NUST employees with less than 02 years of service with NUST;
- In process of pursuing a degree.
