- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Provide technical support to students and faculty in the computer labs.
- Assist with software installations, updates, and licensing management.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, ensuring timely resolutions.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols in the computer labs.
- Ensure compliance with university policies, licensing agreements, and security guidelines.
- Perform regular maintenance and preventive measures on computer equipment.
- Coordinate and oversee repairs or servicing by external vendors when necessary.
- Provide training and assistance to students and faculty in using computer lab resources.
- Offer guidance on software applications and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory.
- Document lab procedures, guidelines, and troubleshooting solutions.
- Assist in maintaining data security and integrity within the computer labs.
- Monitor cybersecurity threats and report any suspicious activities.
- Collaborate with faculty to support research initiatives that require specialized lab equipment or software.
- Work closely with the IT department for infrastructure and network-related tasks.
