Job Description:
Qualification & Experience:
MBA preferably with major in marketing from any HEC recognized university. 
Minimum 15 years’ experience in relevant field

Key Responsibilities:
(a)    Planning, developing, implementing and monitoring the university’s marketing and communication strategies, including promotion using different media, public relations, image and brand building, story-telling, and all other domains that come in the purview of Marketing.
(b)    Ensuring articulation of the university’s desired image and position; consistent and timely communication of the same. 
(c)     Ensuring relevant market research and competitive analysis to help strategy formulation. 
(d)    Developing marketing collateral and communication material (including advertisements, press releases, publications, digital media posts, videos) to reach all types of target audiences – both internal and external, using all available media – print, electronic, digital, and others.
(e)    Responsible for editorial direction, design, production and distribution of centralised university publications like newsletters, brochures, etc.
(f)      Developing organisational material, merchandise and souvenirs, including visiting cards, letterheads, calendars, diaries and any other types of souvenirs.
(g)    Supervising efforts of the M&C team, and coordination at tactical and strategic levels with the other departments and functions of the organisation.
(h)    Acting as the focal point for all NUST Directorates, Departments, Schools, Colleges, Centers and Institutes, for marketing and communications functions. 
(i)  Leading other projects as assigned, such as cause-related marketing and special events.

1. Strategic Mindset with an ability to design cohesive and implementable strategies in line with organizational mission
2. Ability to lead multi-functional teams through efficient workload prioritization and distribution to ensure efficient and timely implementation of strategies to meet objectives
3. Sufficient organizational knowledge and good relationships with peers, juniors and seniors in the organization
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, excellent command over written and spoken English
5. Ability to Lead and Motivate team members

    - NUST employees with less than two (02) years service with NUST and/or absence of NOC from Head of  Institution.

   - In process of pursuing a degree.

   - Medically Unfit.
