Qualification & Experience:
MS / Bachelors in Mass Communication/ Digital Arts/ Computer Science from any HEC recognized university.
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a videographer in a creative production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Marketing Creative Head, Digital Communication Managers and Graphic Designers to create digital video content for social media platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram etc
- Work with M&C clients (NUST Constituent Institutions and Directorate from pre-production stage right up to delivery of video content, work in close coordination inside and outside M&C to shoot, edit and deliver videos in a fast and efficient manner
- Create high quality content that demonstrate creativity and excellence in terms of framing, composition and editing
- Adhere to NUST Brand guidelines, professional creative direction and internal procedure standards
- Deliver final creative assets as per required specifications
Knowledge / Skills/ Abilities / Competencies
- Ability to fly a drone (DJI Mavic 2 Pro) is a plus but not a necessity.
- Familarity with Ronin-S gimble, Sony a7R III camera, Zoom Audio Recorder.
- Detail-oriented and meticulous, with the ability to meet deadlines
- Experience in agency or digital production team shooting and editing videos
- Experience with Adobe Suite, specifically Adobe Premiere and After Effects, FCP, Davinci Resolve and Final Draft.
- Ability to use After Effects to create 2D animations and Explainer Videos
- Experience editing both short-form and long-form content (10 mins+)
- Able to edit videos from start to finish, including audio editing and colour grading
- Excellent command over written and spoken English
