- MS/MPhil in Engineering from a HEC recognized university.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in leading HEC recognized university.
- Retired Armed Forces Personnel (Brig or equivalent Preferably from Corps of Engrs / EME / Signals) with requisite experience are also eligible to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and assess admission policies, procedures and data processing systems of the Admissions Office.
- Implementation of all activities related to entrance test for UG programmes.
- Maintain and update question bank through regular checking and peer review.
- Obtain approval of subject specialists and peer reviewers from within and outside NUST from competent authority and maintain their record.
- Preparation, updation and implementation of policies and SOPs concerning entrance test.
- Coordination with other universities, testing services and other stakeholders with regard to schedule of NUST entrance test.
- Ensure preparation of result of entrance test as well as merit list.
- Ensuring secrecy and safe custody of examination material and other records/material pertaining to NUST Entrance Test.
- Exercise command and control on the staff of Admissions Directorate and monitor their performance as per their charter of duties.
- Perform any other duty as assigned by the Rector/Pro-Rector Academics.

- Medically unfit.

- Candidates serving in Govt departments, may apply through their respective parent department / organizations.
- Late / incomplete applications will be ignored. Only short-listed candidates will be considered / called for test / interview and no TA / DA will be admissible.
