- PhD with specialization in Chinese Studies, Chinese culture, history, philosophy, politics, economy, governance & diplomacy.

- 15 Years’ of teaching/professional experience at Undergraduate/Postgraduate/ administrative level within Higher Education Sector.

-  Worked at senior level positions & attended/organized events of national/international repute. 

- Proficient (oral & written) in English and Chinese language. 

-    Chinese National Only.   

Responsibilities:   

- Preparation of yearly calendar for Chinese Study Center activities. 

- Organizing Chinese language classes for the faculty and students.

- Organizing activities to promote/Showcase understanding of Chinese system & culture.

- Undertake translation of Chinese literary pieces to promote understanding of Chinese cultural traditions. Translate minimum 100 pages of Chinese literary pieces.

- Managing the activities of Center as a thinks tank/area study center on China. 

- Promote/coordinate CPEC-focused research

- Promote Study Center as regional hub for planned China Pakistan Higher Education Research Institute.

- Organizing conferences, seminars and workshops in collaboration with Chinese universities. 

- Publishing of minimum 1 book yearly on China/CPEC

- Undertake at least 1 impact study per year related to CPEC in collaboration with Chinese universities. 

- Responsible to train not less than 100 staff/students in Chinese language.
