Qualification

·         CA (Inter) / ACCA / ICMA / equivalent from any HEC recognized university. 

·      Minimum 2-3 years experience of Industry/ Articles from any reputable CA firm.

Key expertise/ Responsibilites

·         Sound accounting skills

·         Hands on experience of accounting software

·         MS Excel proficiency

·        Recording and Maintenance of all books of accounts

·       Preparation of Monthly , quarterly , half yearly and annual Financial statements and compilation of underlying records for presentation to management,

·         Preparation and review of aging analysis of Receivables and payables

·         Training & development of related support staff

·         Review of all accounting transactions and coordination with banks and payments section

·         Coordination with external auditors for smooth conduct of Audit

·         Manage NUST and schools accounts team efficiently and effectively

·         Coordination with actuaries and valuation firms for actuarial valuation of funds and property valuation

·         Maintenance of accounts of gratuity, Pension GP Fund, endowment fund and investments

·         Management of fixed assets accounting and maintenance of proper fixed assets register

·         Management and reporting of NUST corporate lease transactions

·         School / Institution wise book keeping and review of accounting transactions, inter schools Accounts / institution accounts / records

·         Review of NUST projects accounting transactions

·         Preparation of bank reconciliation statements on daily basis

·         Any other as assigned by management.

-       3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.

-       NUST employees with less than two years’ service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.

-       In process of pursuing a required degree.

-       Medically unfit.

-       Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter.

-       Candidates serving in Govt departments, Armed forces may apply through their respective parent department / organizations. Late / incomplete applications will be ignored. Only short-listed candidates will be considered / called for test / interview and no TA / DA will be admissible.
