About the position
• School of Interdisciplinary Engineering and Sciences (SINES) is the flagship NUST School offering interdisciplinary graduate programs spanning the engineering, sciences (natural, computer & social) and business disciplines. It is working on cutting-edge research that transcends the traditional disciplinary boundaries. SINES invites applications from qualified individuals who have a proven track record of contemporary and interdisciplinary research in engineering and sciences disciplines at the rank of Assistant / Associate Professor. The candidate will join a dynamic faculty team to offer interdisciplinary graduate programs at the school.
• PhD in below mentioned areas from recognized University/Institution.
• 10 years teaching/research experience in a recognized institution/university or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization (at least 4 years experience at Post PhD).
OR
• 5 years post-PhD teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.
• 10 research publications with at least 4 in the last 5 years published in WoS-JCR Impact Factor / HEC category “W” Journals.
Discipline:
• The candidate must have a PhD in relevant field from reputable universities with a proven research and development experience. Foreign experience at renowned universities, research centres and other international interdisciplinary settings will be a plus.
• Relevant Graduate level coursework must have been completed.
• Candidate must provide evidence of teaching and research excellence.
• Post-doctoral or industrial experience in the same field will be considered a plus.
• Experience in R&D grant proposals, industrial consultancy and entrepreneurial experience will be considered a plus.
• Should have hands-on experience on tools and technologies used in the relevant field of experience.
