Job Description:
Qualification / Experience
- Master’s degree in Business Administration preferably in Marketing or Technology Management.
- Minimum five (05) years industrial experience in any reputable organization. Must have experience in patenting, licensing and/or formation of spin-out/start-up companies should be essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist GM TTO in identifying and evaluation the technologies developed at NUST for commercial viability
- Build close relationship with NUST schools / colleges / centers and industry provided by IP&M Office
- Grasp technical concepts of projects quickly, and translate these into commercially viable proposals.
- Work effectively with key stakeholders (industry and developers of the technology), assertively influencing them and where appropriate showing tenacity and persistence in business development situations
- Deploy excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing for engaging industry and technologist.
- Successfully negotiate commercial contracts with relevant industry 
- Work successfully within a close-knit team.
- Manage a large and growing portfolio of projects to a successful commercial conclusion 
- Supporting post-deal activity, including renewal to licenses
- Manage and supervise daily operations of Tech Transfer Office.

- Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons:
- 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.
- NUST employees with less than two years’ service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.
- In process of pursuing a required degree.
- Medically unfit.
