Qualification \ Experience
- Masters in Business Administration (MBA) Specialization Areas; Marketing
- 2-5 years
KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES
- Market research analysis experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Good knowledge of statistical packages (SPSS or similar), databases and MS Office.
- Search engines, web analytics and business research tools acumen.
- Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys).
- Working knowledge of data warehousing, modelling and mining.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking.
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong networking skills
Key Responsibilities
- Collect data on stakeholders, audiences, competitors and market place and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations.
- Should be able to present NUST brief and other presentations to MoST, HEC and for high-profile visits to and from NUST
- Understand university objectives and design research tools to determine prospective stakeholders’ perceptions, preferences, desires, etc. related to NUST and its brand image.
- Conduct market research to design new marketing and promotional strategies for different audiences of the University.
- Perform valid and reliable research to facilitate SWOT analysis of NUST.
- Interpret and analyze relevant data, and make recommendations on the basis of collected and analyzed information.
- Provide competitive analysis on other universities; identify trends in academic institutes.
- Evaluate NUST’s marketing campaigns and key data presented in the campaigns, to ensure that information communicated in the campaigns is commensurate with latest research findings. 
- Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties’ researches and implement best practices.
- Establish & maintain the marketing department's budget in collaboration & supervision of marketing manager; and ensure all marketing activities to be cost-effective.
- Responsible for the daily operation of Main Office’s reception. Responsibilities include overseeing Front Desk officers

- 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.
- NUST employees with less than two years’ service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.
- In process of pursuing a required degree.
- Medically unfit. 
- Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter. 
- Candidates serving in Govt departments, Armed forces may apply through their respective parent department / organizations. Late / incomplete applications will be ignored. Only short-listed candidates will be considered / called for test / interview and no TA / DA will be admissible.
