Bachelor’s degree (16 years Education) in the field of Computer science, information technology, engineering or computer-related field from HEC recognized foreign/local university/institution. Additionally, Master degree in the same fields will be preferred. 

At least 05 years post qualification hands-on experience in large L3 networks: Routing, Switching Wireless Network. Network Security and Control of Spam, Viruses, Application and Bandwidth. Intrusion Detection & Prevention System and VPNs. Experience in VoIP would be an additional preference.

Key Skills 

· Thorough understanding of OSI Network Model, TCP/IP, Network Design, Configuration, Troubleshooting and Resolution of Network Faults.

· Ensures and maintains appropriate level of firewall controls and security access.

· Ability to use related tools, such as network analyzers and Network switches and Firewalls etc.

Ineligibility:-

- 3rd div in academic career;

- NUST employees having less than 02 years’ service with NUST;

-       In process of pursuing a degree
