Job Description:

Qualification

Essential

-    MS/MBA  from HEC recognized local/foreign university/institute

-    Retired Armed Forces Personnel (Brig/Equiv) are also eligible to apply

Desirable

-    MBA HR/MSc HRM from HEC recognized foreign university.

Experience

Essential

-    Minimum 15 years’ experience in Human Resources Management / Administration / Organizational Development in any reputable university/ organization

Desirable

-  Experience of strategic HR planning/ management/
development of employees of an academic institution.

Additional Requirements

-  Good interpersonal, leadership & communication skills.

-    Excellent organizational and People Management skills

-    Excellent knowledge of HR function; the principles, practices and procedures of Human Resources Management. 

-    Ability to understand problems and take prompt decisions.

-    Ability to build and manage relationships with all internal stakeholders of the university.

-    Demonstrate ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced dynamic academic/ education environment.

-    Well conversant with MS Office and HR related software.

-    Demonstrate ability to recruit and retain high quality university staff.

Ability to work with multiple priorities at the same time and handle unexpected situations successfully.

Note:--       Candidates are required to get their degrees / certificates verified from Concerned Institution / HEC and will attach scanned copies of their documents (Academics / Professional) along with their CVs. 

-       Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons:- 

-       3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.

-       NUST employees with less than two (02) years service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.

-       In process of pursuing a degree.

-       Medically unfit.
