FAQs/Help
How can I find a job at NUST?
NUST offers the following two distinct career tracks:
  1. Professional positions: These are mainly the managerial and administrative positions.
  2. Academic positions: These are mainly the Faculty positions.
We regularly advertise the available career opportunities through our website and/or newspaper advertisements.
How long does it take to process my resume?
The length of the recruitment process will vary depending on the position you have applied for. Therefore, your patience is greatly appreciated. However due to large number of applications received at the resume screening stage, only short-listed candidates are contacted for further tests/interviews.
How do I know if the position is still open?
If the position you applied for is listed on the NUST HR website, it means that it is still open.
What happens after I submit my application and resume to the HR department?
Once your application is in the system, it will be reviewed by the Human Resource Department. If you meet the minimum job requirements for the position you have applied for, your application will be considered for short listing.. You will hear from the HR Department directly if they are interested in setting up an interview. Due to the high volume of resumes we receive, it is not possible to respond directly to all applicants. Only short-listed candidates are contacted for further tests/interviews.
Is there a closing date or application deadline?
Usually, a deadline for receiving applications and resumes is mentioned in the jobs posted at our HR website. If the job posting is marked as open, it means that we are continuing to receive resumes for the marked position.
