Qualification and Experience:
BS Degree in CS/IT or Equivalent from any HEC
recognized University.
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in web programming in
open-source application preferable learning management systems like MOODLE.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Performs implementation tasks alone and/or in development team
environment.
2. Analyse the user
requirements, transform into technical design, and then ensure successful deployment of task
schedules.
3. Understands and establishes development and live hosting environments.
4. Codes web projects per technical and design specifications.
5. Integrates third party and proprietary applications.
6. Performs QA, browser compatibility and testing efforts
7. Assist with application architecture design and implementation.
8. Analyse the application
upgrade requirement and ensure the deployment of latest stable releases of MOODLE
9. Secure the
application by implementing latest security updates.
10. Enhances
and implement MOODLE plugins that strengthen the digital teaching and Learning.
11. Conduct peer reviews, provide guidance,
suggest & implement best practices and techniques to junior developers.
12. Adhere to
and recommend improvements to project coding standards.
13. Work in a team environment with shared
code; disciplined use of source code control and process documentation.
Any other development
task assigned.
