Job Description:
Qualification / Experience
- MS (International Relations, Public administration, Marketing / Business Administration)  (Foreign Qualification will be given preference)
- 5+ years’ experience in global protocol section, handling visa related tasks and administration
- Candidate must have strong administrative, organization skills, excellent interpersonal & communication skills, quick thinker and driven by energy and enthusiasm. The candidate should be able to meet strict deadlines and think strategically. The candidate must be able to work independently as well as ability to lead the teams. Experience of Policy drafting, contract management, managing deadline and supervising staff is crucial. 
Key Responsibilities
a. Deal with matters related to Visa letter issuance, visa renewal tracking and processing of international students
b. Ensure internal coordination for accommodation and messing support from NUST Dtes, coordination for arrival of students/faculty, reception of students/faculty. 
c. Arrange orientation of international students/faculty
d. Prepare brochures for assistance of international students/faculty after joining NUST
e. Arrange semester meet ups to discuss problems faced by International student/faculty, excursions and outings. 
f. Handle international students club with help from SAC. 
g. Assist in exchange (inbound and outbound) and scholarship nominations and selection.
h. Provide student and staff counselling for outbound mobility opportunities, manage NUST Scholarship Champions and schedule International Scholarship Webinar 
i. Formulate Strategies, seek approval of SOPs/ Policies to facilitate and promote International student activities. 
j. Coordinate and attend relevant meetings, events, Presentations, related to international student support. 
k. Correspond with Ministries, HEC, foreign universities and embassies in reference to international students’ support and visa processing 
l. Undertake any other assigned activities by NUST senior management.

- Last Education Certificate/Degree should be verified/attested by HEC. 
- Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons:
- 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.
- NUST employees with less than two years’ service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.
- In process of pursuing a required degree.
- Medically unfit. 
- Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter. 
- Candidates serving in Govt departments, Armed forces may apply through their respective parent department / organizations. Late / incomplete applications will be ignored. Only short-listed candidates will be considered / called for test / interview and no TA / DA will be admissible.
